By Dean’s decree No: 1215/SK/K01.15/KP/2007 dated May 10th, 2007, there are 17 education and research laboratories established. These education and research laboratories are:

School of Pharmacy ITB also has several service laboratories, such as:

  1. Bioavailability-Bioequivalence
  2. Natural Product Production
  3. Drug Toxicity and Safety
  4. Animal and Biological Testing

School of Pharmacy is supported by the equipments and apparatures to facilitate education and research activities. The equipments are HPLC, UV-VIS spectrophotometer, gas chromatograpy equipment, climatic chamber, Voltametric Analysis Processor equipment, Karl Fischer Titrator, Autotitrator, Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS), and other equipments such as tableting machines, animal husbandary, aseptic rooms for steril products manufacturing.

Library

School of Pharmacy ITB has a 140 m2 wide library with collections covering 4101 textbooks and 264 national and international scientific journals, and popular scientific magazines as well.

Scientific Journal

Since 1970, School of Pharmacy ITB has published a scientific journal named Acta Pharma-ceutica Indonesia. The journal issues 4 volumes per year and are distributed to all state and private pharmacy higher education programs in Indonesia, research institutions, and several overseas libraries. The articles published in Acta Pharmaceutica Indonesia can be accessed through website www.fa.itb.ac.id, or can be browsed by Google online.

In collaboration with School of Life Sciences and Technology and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the School of Pharmacy also takes part in the management and publication of the Journal of Mathematic and Sciences (JMS), which is also published 4 times a year. Another journal, Altius, published by Sport Science research group, is a scientific journal of sport sciences and published 2 times a year.

Computer Laboratories and Information Services
